This information may be used to operate the marketplace, support users, resolve disputes, review safety concerns, and enforce platform policies.
7. Location Data and Tracking
Where map and location features are enabled, CharterTasks may process location information such as job address, latitude, longitude, route information, ETA, distance, freelancer location updates, timestamps, and tracking session details.
Tracking is intended to start only after a freelancer accepts a job, where enabled and supported by the platform. Location features may depend on browser permissions, device settings, internet connection, and Google Maps API setup.
8. Payments and Financial Information
Where payment features are enabled, payment processing may be handled by approved third party payment providers.
CharterTasks should not collect or store full payment card numbers directly. Payment providers may process payment details under their own terms and privacy policies.
CharterTasks may store limited payment related records such as order references, transaction IDs, refund status, payout status, cancellation records, and dispute details.
